A very rare and early First Period Dr Wall Worcester Pickle Leaf Shaped Dish, of pointed leaf shape and moulded very finely with natural veining. Painted probably outside the manufactory with stylised leaves and flowers.
Manufactured in the earliest period of the manufactory's production. This leaf pickle probably like most items at that time that were not to be decorated in underglaze blue, left the manufactory in the white and was decorated perhaps in London.
