An extremely rare and highly unusual Meissen Pudelkopfes or Poodle’s Head Tabatiere or Snuff Box, the dog’s face with deep modelling and naturalistic highlighting to the hair, the cover painted inside and outside with domestic farmyard scenes of chickens, cockerels and turkeys. With beautiful patterned rose gold mounts and gilded interior.
