A very large and impressive Meissen model of a Spaniel seated on a large rectangular tassled cushion painted with brightly coloured springs and sprays of European flowering plants and flowers on a pale yellow ground. The underside of the cushion enamaled in puce. The alert and animated dog looking to one side with open mouth and barking attitude. The woolly and hairy coat picked out in tones of brown, black and grey.
Marks: Blue cross swords in underglaze blue to the underside of the base.
