An extremely rare and fine Meissen bullet shaped teapot & cover applied with bird spout, tau handle and palm fruit finnial all enriched with puce.
Beautifully painted on either side with sunflowers in full bloom together with a spring of strawberries and small insects including a ladybird.
Marks: Cross swords mark in underglaze blue to the underside of the base together with painter’s mark D in black enamel to both pot and cover.
