A rare pair of Meissen Models of a Cock & Hen pheasants modelled by J.J. Kaendler each with the front of their breasts lowered to the ground with their tails up in the air, beautifully naturalistically coloured.
The Hen with a brood of chicks (2 male and 1 female) in a nest of wheat, the cock with a coloured neck and head also standing on a similar nest made of blades of wheat.
