A Meissen figure of a Putto riding a Dolphin, modelled by J.J.Kaendler, the corpulent winged child wearing turquoise and puce drapery holding onto the tail of an upturned sea monster whilst blowing a conch shell.
This item was conceived at part of an elaborate table decoration depicting creatures associated with the sea, it is highly possible that this model was conceived as part of the Swan Service, ordered by Count Brühl.
