A Meissen Botanical Teapot & Cover of elegant ogee form with moulded bird spout and applied scrolled tau shaped handle, each gilt with highlights, the body painted in bright naturalistic colours with Holzschnitt  Blumen composed of a purple rose spray together with insects and a caterpillar on one side and an orange Convolvulus flower and further scattered insects on the other, the slightly domed cover mounted in silver gilt with a rising stylised foliate thumb piece and applied with a gilded palm fruit finial, painted with smaller scattered flowers and insects.
