A Pair of Dutch Delft Ovoid Vases painted with a white tin glaze over an earthenware body. The surface is decorated in blue paint depicting an ice-crackle blue ground with reserved floral scroll along the sides, as well as reserved front and back panels. One panel illustrates a robed elderly man seated on a rock beneath an arched pine tree. His left hand holds a gnarled root staff while his right-hand hovers over a manuscript resting atop a tri-legged table. The other panel depicts a dancing woman, her long sleeved robes billowing in the wind beneath a willow tree. Next to her is a prancing buck, neck bowed, and ears flattened to reveal its short antlers. Along the shoulder is a concentric triangle band beneath an undecorated flared neck.

The De Grieksche A or Greek A factory was owned by Adrianus Kocx from 1687 to 1701. During his period, pieces bear his AK mark.
