A rare Italian Faience Trompe L’Oeil Bowl, of ribbed lobed silver form,
decorated with ochre and manganese edged panels containing stylised sprigs
of lavender and buttercups, the bowl filled and applied with life size ripe green
figs, coloured in yellows and greens together with their characteristic blemishes. The footrim is pierced for hanging.
