An extremely rare and highly important Pair of Hochst Fayence Seated Pug Dogs.   The seated male and female of characteristic shape and beautifully modelled each holding a paw up, highly naturalistically painted with a cream body washed in yellow and with black detailing to the hair and the face, both on slightly domed green oval bases.
