A fine and early Worcester Tankard, of slightly waisted cylindrical form with grooved strap handle, painted in underglaze blue with the same pattern as No 10 in this exhibition. ‘The Walk in the Garden’ pattern.

A slightly later use of the pattern compared with No 10, as is noticed by the use of the later shape of the handle and the much more dark tone of the blue.

Marks:   Workman’s mark in underglaze blue.
