An extremely rare Dr Wall Worcester Teacup and Saucer decorated in the London Atelier of James Giles, beautifully painted in tones of green with naturalistic sprays of flowering prunus sprigs and sprays gilt with highlights, within a border of stylised scrolling flowers and leaves and gold line rims.

 

Marks:

Crossed swords and 9 mark in underglaze blue
