A British, Leeds Pottery Pearlware model of a Horse, painted with a tan coat and brown mane with tail whisked between the hind legs standing on a green sponged stepped base bordered in pink with blue vines and black band borders painted along the sides. The horse wears a blue lead and bridle embellished in red.

See discussion and an example of a similarly modelled horse in Pat Halfpenny, English Earthenware Figures, 1740-1840 (1991), p. 126 Pat Halfpenny described them as "amongst the most striking figures ever made.
An early example signed ‘LP’ for Leeds Pottery with similar vine band but in puce around the base is in Colonial Williamsburg, VA (1984-218).
