An extremely rare and Highly Important Chelsea Raised Anchor Model of a Green Indian Fly Catcher, taken from George Edwards ‘Natural History of Uncommon Birds’, vol. 2 pl. 79.
The bird raised up on a naturalistically modelled tree stump applied with leaves and buds, the plumage of the bird coloured in tones of purple, brown, black and yellow, the base painted with roses and butterflies.
