A Fine First Period Dr Wall Worcester Saucer Dish from the Duchess of Kent Service, beautifully painted with panels of exotic birds in garden landscapes and leafy branches, within oval rococo gold scrolled panels reserved on a gros blue ground, the centre with a spray of spotted fruit.
From a service made for the Mother of Queen Victoria, Princess Marie Louise Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, who married firstly Emich Carl 2nd Prince of Leinigen (married 1803-1814) and then Prince Edward Duke of Kent and Strathearn (married 1818-1820)
